Certain car parks offer conditional parking offers, such as free parking hours, or discounts on hourly parking fees. If you’re an Easy Park user, you can redeem these parking offer by directly uploading related transaction(s) using your linked Eligible Octopus with Easy Park via Octopus App.

If you see the “Redeem Parking Offer” button appear in Easy Park in the Octopus App, this should mean you have entered a car park where you can redeem a parking offer through Easy Park. Tap the button to find out more about the parking offer redemption details.

The “Parking Offer Details” button can take you to a page showing the requirements (e.g. taking two MTR rides) for the parking offer. If you have used your linked eligible Octopus with Easy Park for the required spending, you can tap “Upload Transaction Records” to upload these transactions in order to request redemption. You may re-upload transactions if you see a “Re-upload Transaction Records” button; in this case, the previous record will be replaced.

Don’t forget to express your consent to share the transaction records with the car park for the parking offer redemption.

If the transactions you upload are valid for the redemption, the car park will immediately notify you of a successful redemption. Otherwise, you will receive notice of an unsuccessful redemption.

You should use your linked eligible Octopus with Easy Park to meet the required spending conditions and upload the transaction records to redeem a parking offer before driving out of the car park.

Only relevant transaction records will be transmitted to the car park for redemption of a parking offer. For example, only MTR ride transactions (if any) will be uploaded for redemption of the “Park and Ride Scheme” of MTR car parks. The other transaction records of your linked eligible Octopus with Easy Park will not be uploaded.

In this case, the parking offer cannot be redeemed, and a standard parking fee will be charged against your linked Eligible Octopus with Easy Park.
