OKGet an Octopus UnionPay Card
If you are an Octopus Wallet Plus or Pro (Verified) user, you can sign up for the Octopus UnionPay Card instantly through the Octopus App; no documentation is required. Once you get the card, simply tap to enable it to make QR code payment right away. If you are not yet an Octopus Wallet Plus or Pro (Verified) user, upgrade now!
Simply turn on the enable button, you can use your Octopus UnionPay Card right away.
To be eligible to get an Octopus UnionPay Card, you have to be an Octopus Wallet Plus or Pro (Verified) user. And you have to be aged 13 or above^ to upgrade your Octopus Wallet.
^Applicants aged 13 or above can upgrade to Octopus Wallet Plus, and applicants aged 18 or above can upgrade to Octopus Wallet Pro (Verified).
If you are an Octopus Wallet Plus or Pro (Verified) user, you don't need to provide any extra documents to sign up for the Octopus UnionPay Card.
Each Octopus Wallet Plus or Pro (Verified) user can only have one Octopus UnionPay Card that link to the Octopus Wallet.
As long as you are an Octopus Wallet Plus or Pro (Verified) user, you can apply for an Octopus UnionPay Card in the Octopus App, with your iOS or Android device.
There are a host of features that give you peace of mind when you make payment with the Octopus UnionPay Card:
- In-App push notification messages will be sent to you for each transaction
- You can turn on or off the Octopus UnionPay Card with one click to decide when you want to pay with the card
- You can also set "Maximum Amount Per Transaction" to have greater control; simply set your own limit in the App
