Octopus Reloading Mini Program (for Weixin Pay Mainland China Wallet holder)

OKTop up your Octopus
- Tap “Top up Octopus” in the home screen
- Place your physical Octopus at NFC position of your phone until the top up amount input screen is shown
- Remaining value of Octopus is shown, select or input top up amount (HKD), then tap “Top up now”
- The total amount to be deducted from Weixin Pay Mainland China Wallet in RMB will be shown. Tap “Pay” to proceed
- Authenticate payment
- Tap the physical Octopus card at NFC position of your phone again, until it showed the top up completion screen. If top up is not successful, please remove the Octopus and tap card again
- Top up successful and the top up details will be shown
If the top up transaction record in the Mini Program fails to display due to network interruption or improper operation during the top up process, please wait for a while and then check if the transaction record has been updated. If your Octopus fails to top up but the amount is deducted from your Weixin Pay Mainland China Wallet, a refund will be arranged within 24 hours. You can check the refund status via “Top Up History” in the Mini Program.
After Octopus Cards Limited completes the refund (the transaction status in “Top Up History” indicates “Refund successful”), you will receive the refund in 1 to 3 working days.
Octopus top up transactions cannot be cancelled. However, if your Octopus fails to be topped up but the amount has been deducted from your Weixin Pay China Wallet, a refund will be arranged within 24 hours.
There is no service fee charged by Octopus Cards Limited to top up Octopus in the Mini Program. There may be fee charged by Weixin or your bank for the payment transactions with Weixin Pay Mainland China Wallet, please refer to the service agreement they provided.
