From now until 31 December 2024, you will receive $50 Octopus Top-up Value when you successfully upgrade your auto-reload amount to $500 or $1,000 for an Eligible Octopus*, including Octopus on iPhone or Apple Watch, Huawei Pay Octopus, Samsung Pay Octopus and Octopus on Android. Register for the Upgrade Promotion, and activate the new auto-reload amount on or before 31 January 2025. You won't have to worry about insufficient balance on your Octopus, and can enjoy greater payment flexibility and convenience.

*An Eligible Octopus means a valid Octopus or Octopus product (the "Octopus") that has been enabled with AAVS with an auto-reload amount of $150 or $250 as of 30 June 2024. If you have any Octopus enabled with AAVS with an Auto-Reload Amount of $500 or $1,000 as of 30 June 2024; or an Octopus related to any application for reactivation of AAVS following suspension or cancellation shall not be regarded as an Eligible Octopus for the purpose of this Upgrade Promotion.
^Notification for collecting the Promotion Offer will be sent to the registered Hong Kong mobile phone number of the Eligible Octopus Holder by SMS within 7 days after fulfilling all requirements.
Note 1: $20 handling fee will be charged for switching bank, AAVS re-activation or AAVS application if you have applied for AAVS before and you are not currently using AAVS on other Octopus.
