How to collect Octopus 828 JoyYou Fest Cash Rebate?
The cash rebate collection period starts on the 3rd day after completing an eligible retail transaction, during 31 August to 20 October. You can collect the rebate by tapping your JoyYou Card on any Octopus Service Points located at the designated MTR stations and shopping malls, or the Octopus App.

Please bring your JoyYou Card and visit one of the Octopus Service Points located at designated MTR stations and shopping malls to collect your cash rebate.
Please tap “Refund/ Bonus” and follow the instructions on the screen to collect the cash rebate.

Message and push notifications
If you have registered the JoyYou Card on the Octopus App, you will receive a notification about the cash rebate collection on the 3rd day after completing the transaction.
Reminder: To receive the notification for the cash rebate collection, make sure to register your JoyYou Card on the Octopus App within 2 days after completing the transaction.
Steps to collect cash rebate via the Octopus App:
- 1. Open the Octopus App and go to “Manage Octopus” page. Click “More” under “Quick Actions”.
- 2. Click “Collect Octopus Refund / Rewards” under the Customer Service section.
- 3. Click “Enquiry” and tap your JoyYou Card to the NFC antenna area of your mobile device to check the rewards or refund details.
- 4. Click “Collect” if there is a pending cash rebate to be collected.
- 5. Tap your JoyYou Card to the NFC antenna area of your mobile device until the transaction receipt is shown.
How to register Your JoyYou Card on the Octopus App:
- Under “Octopus Card” main page, tap the card image
- Follow the instruction to enter the JoyYou Card number
- Tap your JoyYou Card on the back of your mobile to complete the registration
