Standard Octopus
Our basic Octopus product includes Child, Adult and Elder cards at your choice.
It comes with a refundable HK$50 deposit which covers the card cost and ensures uninterrupted Octopus service in case of negative value (i.e. the convenience limit) of (a) up to HK$35 on a single occasion for On-Loan Octopus issued before 1 October 2017, or (b) up to HK$50 on a single occasion for On-Loan Octopus issued on or after 1 October 2017.
Your Octopus is issued to you for your regular use. If your On-Loan Adult Octopus is issued on or after 1 October 2017, and has not had any add value or payment transaction for three years, it will become an Inactive Octopus and you may have to pay the Inactive Octopus Administrative Fee. If you no longer need it, please return it to us and collect the deposit and remaining value (if any) to avoid the Inactive Octopus Administrative Fee.

* The initial stored value for Standard Octopus selling via "Citybus Ticketing Office at Bus Terminus at Hong Kong Port of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge" is HK$70 (Child version) and HK$150 (Adult & Elder versions).
