OCL reminds the public and customers to be vigilant against fraudulent websites and mobile app
(Hong Kong, 19 October, 2023) Octopus Cards Limited (Octopus) reminds the public and customers to be vigilant against phishing emails with links to unauthorized websites which request customers to provide their personal and credit cards information.
Below is the sender of the phishing email:

Below are the unauthorized websites:

- https[:]//web-awerna[.]instawp[.]xyz/
- https[:]//dk-b-oeznvqokm292886[.]codeanyapp[.]com/
Additionally, Octopus alerts the public to suspicious website and social media accounts infringing on our trademark for fraudulent purposes. The Chinese keywords include but are not limited to: 八達幣 (BDB) / 四通八達平台 / 四通八達APP / 四通八達項目. Octopus has no relation with the said websites.

Below are the fraudulent mobile apps:

Octopus seeks to clarify that our company has no connection whatsoever with the contents of the mentioned emails, websites and mobile apps, and has notified the Hong Kong Monetary Authority.
