OCL reminds the public and customers to be vigilant against fraudulent SMS and websites

(Hong Kong, 28 March, 2024) Octopus Cards Limited (Octopus) reminds the public and customers to be vigilant against phishing SMS with links to unauthorized websites which request customers to provide their personal and credit card information.

Below are the fraudulent websites:

• rb[.]gy/h6gkkz

Octopus seeks to clarify that our company has no connection whatsoever with the contents of the mentioned websites and has notified the Hong Kong Monetary Authority. Octopus will never ask customers to validate their personal and/or account related information by SMS or through any hyperlinks embedded in such messages.
