Your Citi Octopus Card on iPhone or Apple Watch reloads automatically when it reaches a zero or negative balance. The amount is deducted from the linked account of your physical Citi Octopus Credit Card.

Customers can also top up anytime, anywhere by using:

1. Octopus Wallet
2. Faster Payment System (FPS) with electronic Direct Debit Authorisation (eDDA) set up in the Octopus App
3. Designated bank app via the Octopus App
4. Top up by cash

The maximum stored value of a Citi Octopus Card on iPhone or Apple Watch is HK$3,000, which enables customers to make a wide range of purchases at retail, restaurants and convenience stores.
