OKTopping up your Octopus Wallet
How do I top up my Octopus Wallet?
You can top up your Wallet through one of the following channels:
- by transferring money via designated bank app in the Octopus App
- by fund transfers through Faster Payment System from your banking app / e-banking platform / e-wallet
- by transferring money from your Octopus Card (which is linked under Wallet Plus or Pro (Verified)) via NFC-enabled Android mobile devices, iPhone 7 or newer models with iOS 13 or above, or via an iOS mobile device paired up with an Octopus Mobile Reader. If you are using Wallet Plus or Pro (Verified), you can also:
- top up by cash at designated merchants
- set up an electronic direct debit authorisation ("eDDA") and transfer money instantly from your bank account.
- link eligible Octopus Card and top up your Wallet
How do I top up my Octopus Wallet by cash?
The service is available for Wallet Plus and Pro (Verified). In the Octopus App, under "Wallet" section, please tap "Transfer in" > "Cash" > select the merchant, then show the QR code to cashier for scanning and pay by cash for the top up amount.
